This
is the one responsible for my being bitten by the "show"
bug. Though of promising conformation as a youngster, his best
wins were limited to fun matches. So it was on to other things
for him. After completing his CD in 4 shows with three placements,
he moved on to try his paw at agility. Shayde exemplifies the versatility of the German Shepherd breed. While loving and gentle with children and the elderly on his outings to nursing homes, he is equally alert and focused as a watch dog. He's whispered to me that he'd be great rounding up sheep, so we'll head for the herding arenas next. |
